Moving forward together with your child

Our dream

In 2009 Nicole and Michelle established 4woods Early Learning Centre and this enabled them to share their dream with the Te Puke community.

A centre that had real grass, large outside areas and room for animals and vegetable gardens.

A place where children could learn while engaging in their environment and where parents would be assured that their child was well cared for and educated.

Why choose us?

We believe in providing an environment for all children, where they feel safe and nurtured with a true sense of belonging. We are family/whānau orientated and incorporate bi-cultural practices that reflect the bi-cultural heritage of Aotearoa.

Our holistic learning programme extends children’s individual interests and strengths while linking to New Zealand’s National Early Childhood Curriculum Te Whariki.

We offer stimulating opportunities for children to become involved in such activities as caring for animals, plants and gardens which has strong learning links to the living world. Frequent community visits and outings extend children’s knowledge of their wider world.

Our co-management style ensures that one of us is always working with the teachers and children while the other takes care of administration.

This rotates every three months to keep everybody enthusiastic, interested and professional!
